At Parafina, we equate environmental and social benefit with that of the company itself. We seek profitability, but not at any price, and that is why our economic objectives are always established based on the two pillars mentioned above.

But… what does the B Corp certification consist of?
Thanks to this effort, in 2019 we obtained the B CORP certification. We were the first optics company to be certified in Spain and the third in the Retail sector.
A B Corp certified company means that it meets the highest standards of social and environmental impact. It is the certification of companies that want to be the best, not in the world, but for the world. We think it is very important to highlight that not only the project is certified, but the entire company.
Specifically, 5 areas are evaluated: governance (mission, responsibility, transparency of the company, etc.), business model (impact on customers, whether products are designed to solve a social or environmental problem, etc.), environmental practices (facilities, materials, energy, logistics…), labor (employee policies) and social (supplier relations, diversity, involvement in the local community, etc.). These areas are reviewed every 3 years. This certification leads a global movement of more than 3,000 companies worldwide.
