I'm sure you'll visit the sea this summer.
We take this opportunity to give you some tips on how to be eco-sustainable and take care of that place where almost all of us like to go to unwind: the beach.
USE ECO-FRIENDLY SUNSCREENS
Sunscreens that are not eco-friendly contain chemicals that end up in the sea and end up threatening reefs and the ecosystems that live in them. Use those that do not contain these substances in their composition.
GO TO THE BEACH WITH YOUR RECYCLABLE PACKAGING
Take your recyclable bottle and food in Tupperware if you plan to spend the whole day at the beach. Avoid aluminum containers or single-use plastics. By generating waste, we are contributing to the disappearance of these natural spaces.
DON'T FORGET YOUR ORGANIC WASTE
Fruit or nut shells, even if they are organic, must be removed, since a beach is not a landfill.
DO NOT USE GEL OR SHAMPOO IN PUBLIC SHOWERS
If it's organic, no problem, but if it's conventional, soap up at home. Waste water from public showers goes straight into the sea.
PICK UP YOUR TRASH
It's obvious, but it's important to focus on this issue. As we've said, beaches are not landfills, so get into the habit of taking a bag to collect the waste you generate and if you see any that's already there, it's worth picking it up so that it doesn't cause any more damage.
