The CERRO and LADERA models are made from 100% compostable recycled coffee grounds, which give the sunglasses a unique eco-friendly texture, combined with recycled PET plastic to give stability to the frame structure. The MUST for next year.
Every day, more than 2.5 billion cups of coffee are drunk worldwide. This large amount of sediment is not treated and is wasted, and the reality is that it is a large amount of available commodity to produce any good. In the case of Parafina, we have combined our most classic material, recycled PET (plastic), with this raw material and as a result we have obtained ultra light and water resistant sunglasses.
These frames, LADERA and CERRO, are biodegradable sunglasses instead of conventional sunglasses, which is a new opportunity to contribute to the fight against climate change and try to save the environment.
Like all our eco-friendly sunglasses, the lenses are polarised, providing greater visual comfort by avoiding reflections caused by the sun on different surfaces such as the road or snow. In addition, they have UV400 protection, so they block between 99% and 100% of ultraviolet light (UVA and UVB). They are certified filter category 3, blocking between 82% and 92% of light.
