We believe in the power of giving
We donate 5% of our sales to our social project Parafina Social Project.
This project guarantees access to a stable and quality education for children in a small suburb of Asunción – Paraguay.
Why in Paraguay?
We focus our social project in Paraguay for the following reasons:
Paraguay is one of the poorest countries in Latin America. 35.1% of the population lives below the poverty line. This situation complicates access to quality education for a large part of the population. This means that children end up on the streets in contact with drugs and violence instead of learning in school.
The school where we work on our #ParafinaSocialProject is located in Fátima, a small town on the outskirts of Asunción, very close to the Paraguay river. When it rains there are frequent floods that destroy the houses and what is inside them.
When there is a flood, it becomes impossible to walk on the streets; rubbish cannot be collected and the waste ends up floating down the streets and into the houses, contaminating the water they drink. This waste often flows back into the river and ends up in the ocean, polluting it.
