Why Paraguay?
We focus our social project on Paraguay for the following reasons:

poverty
Paraguay is one of the poorest countries in Latin America. 35.1% of the population lives below the poverty line. This situation complicates access to quality education for a large part of the population. This means that children end up on the streets in contact with drugs and violence instead of learning at school.

floods
The school where we work with our #ParafinaSocialProject is located in Fátima, a small town on the outskirts of Asunción, very close to the Paraguay River. When the rain gets heavier there are often floods that destroy the houses and what is inside them.

trash
When there is a flood, it becomes impossible to walk on the street; the garbage cannot be collected and the waste ends up floating through the streets and entering the houses, contaminating the water they drink. These residues usually return to the riverbed and end up in the ocean, polluting it.
